For example a Charles Austin ET 125 Air Blower used to aerate the bio-mass chamber in a treatment plant has a rated energy use of 125 watts per hour. If a kWh of energy is 0.28p then 125 watts / 1000 = 0.125 kWh if we then multiply this by 0.28p we have a running cost of 0.04p (rounding up) per hour
