Energy Calculator

Use this calculator to estimate the cost of running an electrical device whether it’s an air blower, submersible pump or motor.

For example a Charles Austin ET 125 Air Blower used to aerate the bio-mass chamber in a treatment plant has a rated energy use of 125 watts per hour. If a kWh of energy is 0.28p then 125 watts / 1000 = 0.125 kWh if we then multiply this by 0.28p we have a running cost of 0.04p (rounding up) per hour

or multiply by 24 = 0.84p per day

or multiply by 7 £5.88 per week

or multiply by 52 £305.76 per year
